Paul Holsgrove.
we did similar with Mark Wright in 2009 although unlike Holsgrove he did actually manage to squeeze in 3 games for us

What a load of nonsense. I don't like the way the guy handled his Liverpool exit, but the guy, at 21, is just going through a dip. The guy oozes class when used correctly and I suspect that the coming years will prove how silly this thread is.
There was also that winger that we signed in the summer about ten years back, was brilliant for us until January and then we flogged him to Ipswich for £250,000. Darren Currie, was it?
He's 21. I don't think you can write his career off yet.
Good point about Guardiola. If he gives Sterling a chance and rates him, then Sterling will definitely learn a lot. Just look at what Pep has done to Boateng, for example. Pretty mediocre at City, now one of the world's best defenders.
If he doesn't fancy him, though, he's got no chance.
A bit harsh by the OP - but certainly not worth anywhere remotely close to £50m!!

Isn't he a more expensive version of Kaz?

I love the way us out of shape, over weight and less then Premier class footballers can make such comments, spend a day (game) in his shoes first.
I agree. Let Guardiola see what he is about and if he stays at City then Pep will presumably rate him and I think he will be improved. Just because he was pants yesterday and last Saturday doesn't mean he is a bad player.
So he has just been pants for two games has he? You clearly haven't seen any of his latter career at Liverpool and the whole of his stay, thus far, at City.
I think very unfair to judge ....he wasn't in the city team very much and when he did play the team as a whole weren't very good, and with England how many good players have turned in rubbish performances for the country?
