That list doesn't include Adingra and also doesn't take into account length of injury. Some of those clubs have a few players with a knock whereas we've got multiple long-termers, not to mention the just-returners, Moder and Welbz.

What's more, other clubs' stats are padded by suspensions. Ours are all injuries.

We might not be the worst affected but we're definitely up there.

Yes, once upon a time it was 1 sub . . . . we could barely afford to employ 11 players in the 90's

Many players in the 70's played through most of what sidelines them now . . . Which explains why most used walking sticks whilst still relatively young.

Was Lamptey injured at Forest? I thought he simply pulled up after 20 minutes having not sufficiently recovered from the injury he picked up in the warm-up at Everton two weeks previously. (In fairness, he has never seemed to have been fully fit for 2 years now).

This is a good point actually. I wonder how many of our current injuries wouldn’t have been bad enough to stop players playing 20 years ago.

The days of having a couple of painkilling injections and soldiering through have gone. Which is a good thing.

We had a fair few out for the play-off semi-final second leg. Gave Dunk one of his only starts under Oscar IIRC playing alongside Stephen Ward, who was moved inside when Upson (or Greer) suffered an injury, giving Adam Chicksen a run-out.
We lost. Badly.
