Still a bit disappointing in Newhaven at the moment, and all melting. Considering there's apparently 4 inches in Uckfield.

A few flakes starting to come down again.

4 inches is a bit more than what I have in Ridgewood area of Uckfield, but it is enough that the road outside is virtually buried. Can still see the tops of the gutters but not much else.

It's still coming down with big fat flakes currently, and looking at the radar I suspect that'll continue for a good while yet. The heart of the systems hitting us are then travelling north of Lewes.

Westdene Windmill, Brighton - great sledging on the field. One guy was on skis.



But we saw several vehicle accidents as they happened. Snow on top of ice, causing bedlam. Someone said that they'd just seen a DPD van write off a parked car in Glen Rise, with the DPD culprit driving off.
