About 2 cm now I would say

Sledging on Worthing's Gallops was OK, but not brilliant. Snow too powdery and not enough of it, I guess.

Yes it is really powdery isn't it. Can barely make a snowball let alone a snowman.

May be better later if it freezes a bit, but fear the sun may come out soon and melt it all. Just heading up the ring to check on the ponies.

The thing with the schools closing (and thankfully, my kids' school texted by 7:24am) is that whilst most of the kids are very local, the teachers and other staff aren't necessarily that close...
