Changning the subject, whats your thoughts on the weather for this Saturday? Not Brighton, Crawley!!

The latest seems to show Saturday as a drier day with possibly sleet before (Friday) and rain after (Saturday night). It will be less cold, but not necessarily warm.

There's still plenty of snow around in Beckenham, and the foggy walk to work this morning made for a nice, cold, vaguely eerie start to the day.

Rain has become more sleet like in Worthing for the last few minutes, but still very wet stuff

Inland there's hope for snow later, as colder air digs in from the East.... however, along the coast..

From what I can see online, the temps in Worthing are in the range 3.0 - 3.5C with DPs about zero. They have started to drop, but will take a while to get the other side of marginal.

The odd flake of snow mixed in with the damp sleet stuff for the last fifteen minutes. Slowing now though.

Been gradually getting heavier sleet here in hurst for the last 1hr and now starting to get massive flakes- shame the snow is starting to melt and everywhere is wet so it won't settle much

Flumping snow in Worthing now by the Thomas a Becket but son nearer the coast is reporting it is sleet. Bizarre!!!

Work next to Durrington station and confirm that we have flumping wet snow.
