Thinking that heavy rain the Met office forecast for the rest of the day may now be heavy snow. Temps have dropped and in Mile Oak it's officially "flumping"!!!

Probably the biggest flumps I have ever seen - pavements and roads are beginning to lose the battle

Rain for the last hour in BN1 so all snow has gone however there is some serious flumpage coming down now, cant see it laying as its too wet

Rain Today suggests it is 2.4degrees currently in Lewes falling to 1degree by 1900. Not sure its cold enough to lay.

Snowing heavy near me, Westdene, Brighton. It's starting to lay as well. Last thing i need.


If, a BIG IF, the temps keep dropping we could get it all freezing over.... which would be a real problem, as I'd imagine the earlier rain will have washed any salt away.
