Very heavy skies in the Heath, still freezing but the last snow from yesterday still powdery. Bit more today would be enough to allow an afternoon sitting in front of Sky Sports once I've knackered the lad out in the snow this morning.

Are we still on for another deluge tomorrow ?.

A massive snow event here tomorrow, around another 4-6 inches. Snow could be 10 inches level by Monday morning. Enjoy it this weekend as next week is starts to warm up with a gradual thaw and rain by Thursday.

are bbc way out as they have it to snow all day but only light

today it was heavy for a few hours and we only got an inch or so

So what's the next 24 hours like for Worthing, Uckfield and in between ? I'm determined not to spend 5 hours stuck again !

Looks like we are getting hit tomorrow with a dumping of snow. Could be mainly the West Sussex and eastwards so hopefully we get far more than yesterday in Willingdon. Any updates from papa or dj?

Papa. I remember nice snow storms occasionally hitting the Sussex coast, as small low pressures moving up the channel, hit existing cold air over S E England which had originated from either Scandinavia or Siberia. Sometimes giving relatively deep depths to us around the South Downs. I hope something like this occurs.
