Same. I’ll be awake at 3am watching the rain fall and crying.

This. Last time there was a chance, I set my alarm for exactly 3am, torch by the bedside. It was a no show though so may just see if I happen to be awake this time. as can't face the disappointment.

My wife has just said she's hoping for a good 2 - 3 inches tomorrow morning.

My map doesn't look so encouraging.

I'm just seeing 0 C, brisk NE winds and light snow, all day, in my book that's miserable.

A mild winter’s day in Sussex is invariably strong SW winds, 12C, rain, sunless and 100% humidity. Thoroughly unpleasant.

Once the snow has stopped, a cold snap often brings arid and bright weather.

I know for a lot of people, snow is a pain in the arse, but if it comes down in Kent tomorrow
and Monday, it will be the first time in 20 years when I don't have to face the nightmare commute
and the pushing and shoving d aggro to get on a train up town and back.

I will enjoy these days. It may be another ten years until I can do the same.
I might even build a snowman ..such a huge relief.
