Yep. Really rather unexpected down here. Was planning a trip up Bodmin moor tomorrow to take the kids but we've got the white stuff right on the coast

(although it has melted like a bitch in Falmouth now its stopped, so might still trek up the moor)

Chaos on the roads driving back from Falmouth to Truro this afternoon. Lots of cars still stuck (some abandoned) on A30 up at Temple.

PS. Beginning to panic about getting to Heathrow on Sunday.

Fine snow in Broadwater

I'm about a mile away and nothing for me, looks like a degree of dampness on the cars so we may have had a very slight dusting that has melted already. If anything comes it certainly won't settle in BN14 !

It wasn't forecast this far down, only on the higher ground. Mind you, the torrential rain and standing/running water before the snow was bad enough.

It was on the local news in South West last night. I know I watched it as I've been down there all week. Drove back this afternoon back to East Sussex. All I witnessed was mainly idiots who thought putting their foot to floor was the way to stop the wheels from spinning.

A couple of inches of snow at best.

Truly pathetic this country.

Watching the forecast is one thing but needing the news and tv presenters, one minute discussing the latest soap opera script and, then telling us how to get hysterical about weather is very sad.

Amber warning my arse.

The only thing I worry about is the homeless.
