Blimey. I just had a look, and the ECM 12z is a thing of beauty, with a snow laden long fetch bitterly cold easterly.

And has been mentioned the other models, including the Meto isn't too dissimilar.

:clap2:

A lot can still change though right, so I better not get my hopes up.

Meopham, Kent.
Up here in Kent, it's FLIPPIN' cold today. Stop me if I got a bit technical there.

Still the same?

I know I shouldn't reply to my own post and all but looking at the models now, the predicted snow filled 8'th of feb looks like a mild day, the forecast is changing every day but I'd say it will be mild maybe with a brief cooler spell.

The models seem to have backtracked again!

Mild weather for the forseeable future.

There seems to be some model agreement at last as well, VERY interesting, though a lot can change still

when Do ya reckon we will next get some snow?

Very hard to say to be honest. As you can see from this page alone, the change in forecast is quite remarkable. Blizzards predicted one day, mild weather the next, and we're back to a cold again today!

Won't get a decent idea until the weekend.

That particular chart would snow to many but not down here. We would get rain, as the 850hpa temps would be too high. Of course it can change.

I'm not saying I disagree with you but I think we could get some significant snow mid next week, confidence is high for there to be a cold spell next now due to the models now agreeing. Confidence is higher now because the key switch (the undercut) is at just +72 or earlier, very rarely are the models wrong at this range. Earler, when there was all the flipping about, that key moment was much further out.

Still could go wrong though, it's not in the bag yet... but confidence is quite high now I think.
