Light snow this morning in Eastbourne, lot colder than the last couple of days too.

It's only a possible outcome. Also, as its probably from a streamer (caused by very low upper air temps) it might be very hit and miss.

Snowing in BN2 - very light and fine though.

still looks like there's a risk of snow showers on Saturday widely across Sussex. Hard to say how much though. As always in a NE / ENE wind, East Sussex, nearer the North Sea will be best placed. Some places with a little altitude may see a few cms of snow.

what about the Thames estuary? I keep seeing mixed messages for Southend. Some say just cloud and grey, others say snow flurries.

There is some light stuff there and further into Essex, but the best is East Kent

Thanks papa, I bloody love snow and still fancy a little more, but starting to hanker for for the longer days and warm sunshine. Roll on the spring and an Albion play off victory

I think you boys and girls have seen the last of any significant snowfall for this year. The weather forecast has been right all week, it was only ever going to be snow flurries and after today the temps are gradually rising. Come on spring and the warmer weather
