Clarke lbw was very debatable but who cares!!

Good effort this morning, Gilchrist is the big one. If we get him out early doors we can restrict them to 200.

Wise words, although I think even with Gilchrist out cheaply that 250 would still be a good effort from England. If Gilchrist gets going (and I'm afraid I expect to do so) then Australia will get 325+.

Anything less than 150 would be a miracle and a great start for the boys. Less than 200 would be fantastic. 200+ would be a missed opportunity, but we should still be in the box seat.

I am loving this :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink:

Have not seen anything on the telly, just keeping up to date on the web. What is the secret behind England's success? Is it the pitch? Are the Aussies playing baly? Is there some cloud cover or are they just playing out of their skins?

Fantastic and agressive bowling by GBH, Hoggard, Jones and Freddie... the Aussies did not like it up 'em!!

Langer elbow, Hayden helmet and Ponting on the face guard making his face BLEED badly all hit by fast, short pitched balls.

Add a bit of swing for Hoggard and some safe catching - and it was a great performance.

Some very aggressive bowling did for them mostly. Hoggards ball to get Hayden really was a peach. Langer went for a Flintoff bouncer that came onto him very quickly. Ponting was shaken up by Harmison and was out very quickly after. Jones was lucky to get Clarke, rising ball heading down towards leg.

THere is definitely a bit in the air but we've bowled very well.
