I guess we should look on the bright side...it could have been worse at 25-5. We're only 98 behind with three wickets remaining. I would have probably taken Australia having a lead of 70 or 80 after the first innings when they one the toss and opted to bat. WE'RE STILL IN THIS!!!! ;)

What a great day's cricket, I sadly only discovered a telly hiden in the photocopier room at then end of the Aus innings. No prizes for guessing where i'll be hiding tomorrow.

Can't see a bright side. Australia won't bat as badly again.
Jesus, we wait years for an opportunity like this and what happens? Our so called " top" batsman hit the total of 25 for 5!
All the good work of the morning and after lunch session thrown away. It was piss poor, an absolute shambles.

We're f***ed.

My sentiments as well - but feel free to prove me wrong England

Harsh on our batsmen I think. How many of them really gave their wickets away? McGrath is one of the worlds best ever bowlers and bowled what is already being called in some quarters the best ever spell in test match cricket. Maybe that's exadurating, but it's hardly our batsmens fault.

And anyway, no way are we out of this. We still have one front line batsman left and we're within 100 runs. We're perfectly capable of closing that gap to 50 or so by the end of the innings - just as long as Pieterson stays in, puts away the bad balls, and takes the vast majority of the strike.

I agree exactly. Bloody does my head in. The bowlers work their balls of to get us in a geat position and then Treco and co feck the the batting up.

If Peiterson can grind out an innings then why not them?
