If warne had a team that could do him justice he will come back.
Maybe he could bat a 5 & Doherty could still be the main spinner

Shane Warne refusing to dismiss the possibility of a comeback :lolol:

How much would Ponting give to have Warne or McGrath to do the work for him these days.

Would be done after six overs by his own admission, mind you that would still be better than sixty sent down by Doherty.....

Why stop there, if Bradman were alive, he'd still be a better bet than a couple of their batsman. Even at the age of 102 :lolol:

Don't get me wrong I want england to win
But I want England to beat the best team Australia can put together & that includes Shane warne.
I'm not sure englands batsman would come out to bat so confidently knowing he would be bowling at them at some point.

Well well well, very early days but going at 4 an over already at the start of a very warm day with the ball getting softer.

Maybe I'll stay up for another hour or so

I can't look at Shane Watson without thinking of one of these.

Am feeling pretty confident but i do wish they would not talk in the studio as if its just a matter of turning up and getting the big score. Fair enough Gower tried to temper the enthusiasm a bit. i guess like many followers of the Ashes I have seen too many disappointments down under so its made me a tad nervy. But that said i do think/hope we have a very good chance to gain the initiative by the end of day.

so as with yesterday, predictions please for lunch today?
I am going for 89-1

as predictions go that was not too bad though i say so myself
