Will they give us the extra half hour to try to finish this off?

The quite brilliant thing is, Australia's bowling options are so shockingly poor, they won't even be able to drop players for the next Test in Sydney.

Having lost Rolf, they'll probably have to keep Mitchell Johnson in despite his overall uselessness (Perth aside) in the series. They may well recall Doug the Rug too as a replacement for Harris, and his role so far appears to have been to keep the Barmy Army amused with his comedy aggression, substantial man-breasts and erratic bowling. Sydney normally being a spinner's pitch means they may well retain the poor batting and poor bowling skills of Steve Smith, or have a go with the completely untried Beer, or perhaps bring back the non-spinning abilities of Nathan Hauritz. Or (please, please) even give Xavier Doherty another go, one of the worst Test players ever?

And will Phillip Hughes get another chance up top? Failing to pass twenty in four innings, and yet again having his technique exposed means he must be vulnerable, or at least he would be if Ponting and Clarke weren't so badly out of form too.

Oh, it's all such a treat
