Brighton. NOT KEMPTOWN!
I can't believe that people don't know what a globe of the world is. When asked to stick a pin where Croatia is, Lewis said, "I usually use Google. I've never seen one of those." He probably can't tell the time with a conventional clock or watch either. Youngsters eh?!

People can moan about the show not being as good this year but there was two cracking bits of TV there. Lewis trying to find Croatia on a globe and trying to claim he’d never seen one before. Glorious. However not as good as seeing Lottie getting fired

“She might be last word Linda, but I am last word Lottie Lion.” Alright you absolute dinlow, don’t let the door hit you on the way out

The thing is, with the right investment, branding, locations, events and exclusivity, I reckon Lottie's idea could make a shit load of money. That target market is recession proof.

Mike Souter - take a bow. From order with Pamela that took 11 days to arrive, to the secret shopper cherry slice and a coffee at Karina' s cafe this guy is FORENSIC!

The right pair made the final, but who wouldn't want to invest in Karina?

Brighton / Hove actually
Funny episode that. Lewis talked himself out of the 250k in his first interview, Lottie turned up without figures bless, Claude is really going soft and my dark horse Carina is going to go massive with 2000 shops as a ball park figure. I has a feeling that she was going to say Massive as the question was asked.

You know what 'elite' women do when their working husbands are away, it would be trips to 'dirty bingo' and the like.

Still love The Apprentice, it’s not a tired format at all imho. Throughout the series, Claude’s witty, incisive comments and Karren’s damning bitchiness, are the icing on the cake. We watch it as a family, taking the p out of the sheer incompetence, and enjoying :catfight: (but there’ve been far less this year :().

The best two got through to the final.

My only criticism is it loses something a little by Claude being on the tasks and getting to know them. He was much better back in the day when he first met them.

Her name is Carina. She's been brilliant from the start and it's no surprise she's in the final - she could become just the second person I've picked from the start to go on and win, after the brilliant Yasmina Siadatan.

Interesting that the first two he kicked out without seemingly much hesitation were the two that ALLEGEDLY went off for a shag when they were on a task!

Mind you, they were complete morons. One with a travel business going to a place that he hadn't visited and had no clue where it was. The other with a business plan that contained no numbers. I can only assume that Lottie is so thick she was incapable of googling "How to Write a Business Plan".

Interesting she didn't show up on You're Fired either; appears to be because of her racist comments. Nice girl.

ETA Carina is different class; a travesty if she doesn't win

I enjoy the show. I know it's showbiz but …......…...…

I think it lost some credibility yesterday. Not because the wrong two got into the final but because 2 of the final 5 had business plans so weak that the were never going to win. So why/how did they get past first base? Surely there is a filter mechanism to ensure that only competitors who have a hope of being taken on as Sugar's business partners get into 'the process'. One related issue is that each of the final three had a business to build on. This is (or should be) a huge advantage. Sugar then rejected the Irish girl with no more rationale than that he couldn't see her as his partner.

As I said, it's showbiz - masquerading as a business programme which takes itself very seriously as does the pompous Sugar. TBH we might as well cut to the chase in the first episode and ignore the process. But I'll still watch the next series.

This is the problem with the show. That lad Jordan Poulton in Series 9 was a stand-out candidate and shoe-in for the interviews, only for us to find out he had no equity in the company he wanted Sugar to invest in, so his business plan was a complete non-starter and it had therefore been a waste on time him being on the show.

It seems wrong that candidates stand or fall by a document they prepared before they embarked on the 10-week selection process, as I'm sure most - having undergone such a business masterclass - would want to rewrite it.
