I think PC Balkham needs to step the f**k up and tell is WTF is going on with fans being allowed to set of fireworks/explosives in a packed stadium with NO action being taken. I'm already surprised. Surprised that the kiddies were able to smuggle so many explosives into the ground, and surprised that the stewards didn't frogmarch everybody in the vicinity of their shitty flag away for a proper search once about the third or fourth smoke bomb had gone off in exactly the same place. Yeah, I'm surprised.

Whilst waiting for the escorted scum to pass towards the station, we were locked in and had the pleasure of watching them pass on the otherside of a locked glass door. Anyway got chatting to one of the stewards looking after us and he told me that the away end stewards were provided by Palace? Anyone else hear that?

can't disagree with that. apart from the pc dickhead bit. the massive police presence did little to actually stop the 20/30 idiots that were causing problems. Having a very loud "thing"
(bird -scarer...no way...) explode nearby when families are DIRECTED to walk past those idiots is frankly unacceptable

you make it sound like hand grenades were going off every 5 minutes.... they were smoke bombs or flares small enough to conceal down a sock, in pants, etc. Whilst searches act as a deterrent and would expect to find knives, etc they cannot be expected to be 100% perfect. With respect to Pc Balkham, he is not the match commander and those decisions are not his to make. Why the vitriol ? He's a good guy
