To my knowledge we have never played on my birthday 29th May. The closest was on 30th May 2004. That went well. There could be one near my birthday this season......

In the English Division 3 (old), 2 days before my birthday we lost 2:0 away to Brentford, a few days after my birthday we lost 2:1 at home to Bournemouth.

Very long gap around my birthday, I assume due to weather postponements. Lost away to Portsmouth before and at home to Sunderland after, and we got relegated to the third tier.

15th March 1980 - drew 0-0 with Man Utd and went on to finish 19th and avoid relegation.

Our noisy neighbours up the road finished bottom and were relegated.

On the eve of my birth Albion beat Workington 3-1 at the Goldstone. God we finished below Workington! Who?

1970-71 season, they played Shrewsbury Town 13 February 1971 two days before I was born, we lost 1-2
We finished 14th in old Div 3
