Albion were defeated 2-0 at Oldham Athletic on the day I was born. One of only two defeats in a 15 match run. March 1969.

Born at half time of a league game at Hull in 1978. One down when I was born, came back to draw 1-1. You're welcome.

The 1953-54 season started exactly two weeks after my birth on 19th August with a 2-1 win at QPR.

It was the start of an eight match unbeaten run including seven wins. Finished the season on 61 points which would equate to 87 points currently.

They played on my birthday (18-09-81):

Brighton and Hove Albion Vs. Coventry City (2-2)

Division 1

Finished a rather uninspiring 13th!

FA Cup Final 1983.

Smith didn't score, and my Dad still hasn't forgiven me for having to be in a hospital watching my birth rather than being at Wembley.

Fa cup 2nd round replay V Walsall. We drew 1-1, this was four days after the initial tie. The crowd was 9,621, we finished the season in 5th place in the old 3rd....( we were top with 5 games to go )

If I'm reading Statto correctly we beat Port Vale 3-0 in Division Three to bounce back into the third promotion place, but Millwall snatched it back from us when we lost there the following week and it looks like our season fizzled out after that.

On the plus side, we did the double over Palace that season and finished above them on goals scored.
