Broad castled by Starc... 315-7

Pity this game has been ruined by the weather... it would have been a good contest.

Whilst this Ashes series enters it twilight hours I just want to ensure everyone knows what Lehmann said in 2003 prior to a 5 game odi ban. After being run out against Sri Lanka he fatsoed off uttering the words "black c***". It's hard to imagine a player becoming English national coach with such baggage.

Matt Prior out for 47... a nice little aggressive cameo... and fell to a good catch by Starc from a sliced skier... 363-8 (trail by 129)

Anderson gone for 4. 368-9

Brad Haddin equals the World Record for dismissals by a wicket-keeper in a series... 28 :clap2:

The hapless Kerrigan comes to the crease to LOUD applause from the Oval faithful.

Faulkner gets 4-51... bowling Swann for 34.

England 377 all out, trail by 115 on first innings.

67 overs remaining in the day (with another -2 between the innings, if Australia declare or are bowled out).

You'd like to see Australia get about a 250 run lead and then declare. Might as well tempt England into going for it in the hope of forcing a result of sorts.
