Was just watching the news and I thought the same, remember though, it's NATIONALLY, which doesn't matter when it comes to the voting. I still think Trump will win, but that is a good report just now.
The weird thing is, Republicans will also think that Democracy is threatened, because they believe the Trump nonsense about the last election being stolen. The cynic in me thinks that all of this gumpf from Elong about PA data indicating it's heading for a Republican result is so they can later use this as 'evidence' things were dodgy, should PA actually turn out for Harris.

Several polling sites in Georgia Democratic areas evacuated because of bomb threats (and now ) staying open later.

Trump flooding social media with accusations of widespread fraud in Philly, PA.

Amid reports of exceptionally high voter turnout in Philadelphia, Trump said on Truth Social that there was "a lot of talk about massive cheating" in the city, as an official promptly denied the claim, calling it "yet another example of disinformation."

Trump wrote "Law enforcement coming!!" on Truth Social platform.

Republican City Commissioner and election officials in Philly contradicted Trump saying they haven’t got a clue what he’s going on about.

Exit polls saying 33% of electors not confident elections are being conducted fairly and accurately. 71% concerned about violence after the election.

If Trump can undermine democracy this much out of power, I dread to think what he will do if he gets back in.

Johnson getting completely done over on C4. Mildly uncomfortable watching because it has little to do with the USA.

There is much wrong with British elections. But here polls close at 10pm and 12 hours later (except in a few instances) everyone knows who won, who's forming the new Government and who the PM is. The idea the lead nation of the western world has it's flagship election open to lawsuits and many days of waiting for a result is just crazy in the 21st century.

announced earnings, or rather the lack of them: $1m revenue, $19m loses in Q3.
saw a remark this is about same revenue as a typical McDonalds franchise :lolol:
Jesus, that company has a market cap of $6.8bn. BILLION. Americans are utterly insane - how on earth can this end in anything but a total loss for the investors?

The company is worth more than Kingfisher Group (B&Q, Screwfix, etc), who have a turnover over a thousand times higher than Trump's media company.

*A previous version of this post wrongly interpreted that DJT had $1m a year earnings, when it is in fact per quarter. Still shit of course.

Agreed. No fan of Johnson and I don't mind the grilling - but the majority of it has nothing to do with the US election, feels a bit underhand.

How many voters will vote Harris to preserve democracy but balance that by voting Republican in Congress?

That's their remit at the end of the day but editorially would have made better TV for Daniels to challenge him.

If you want to see a once chance only of Boris Johnson sitting next to Stormy Daniels on a panel, C4 now.
Johnson talks about Trump's foreign policy whilst Emily Maitlis asks him on character. Probably not the best person to ask.

Then Johnson criticizes C4 election coverage whilst continually plugging his book, 7 times so far. Maitlis: "We're not all going to read your book."

It's admittedly low brow and nowhere near the analysis levels of other channels, but it's entertaining enough for now at least.

Brian Cox not holding back on Trump.

I agree (on all points) - there are more Republicans who have no faith in the integrity of the elections than Democrats according to polling - you have to think it is because of the systematic brainwashing by their leader for the past 4 yrs..

So, back to 2024 and the road to 270 electoral votes for Harris - Georgia and N.Carolina will likely be the first to declare and are two swing States Trump is polling ahead of - however, if Harris does well in NC and Georgia or even takes both of those swing States that will be a good bellwether for her performances the rest of the night.

She won’t need PA if she can win all 6 other swing States but she is not very likely to win in the swing state of Arizona. More likely she needs PA where she’s polling neck and neck with Trump plus she needs Mich and Wis where she is presently polling ahead of Trump.
