Harris speech seems to have stolen the MAGA line but taken the aggression out of it and focused on America being great regardless.

She was pretty awesome I have to say. It's all very high brow and pompous, but there is a poll apart in statesmanship there.

She doesn't need to be high brow, the people that would attract will already vote for her. She needs to win over people who might vote Trump.

High-brow is how a Trump supporter would describe someone of slightly-below average intelligence!

He alway said, going back years, that if he was to run for office it would be for Republicans because they are stuoid enough to fall for anything.
I remember that - his supporters are so dumb that they vote for him even when he publicly insults them!

If that's true, surely someone has posted a link somewhere?

Probably not true he has actually said it in public but Jared Kushner at least confirms in his opinion Trump’s distain for Republican supporters

“He just knows Republicans are stupid and they’ll buy it’”.

I predict Trump will be in jail within a year if he loses this one.

It’s remarkable how quickly support and protection melt away when you lose and look weak.
I genuinely think he deserves to be sent to jail (for numerous constitutional, financial, and, sexual crimes) but I also fear that his deranged supporters - the Proud Boys, for example - would unleash absolute mayhem and violent social unrest, making the country ungovernable.

Then, if (hopefully) President Harris pursued a crack-down on political violence and thuggery, Trump's supporters would claim that they were victims of a 'radical Left' witch-hunt, and that the Government/President needed to be overthrow 'to save democracy'.

On the other hand, if a Harris Presidency adopted a softly-softly approach to Trump-fuelled civil disorder, the Republicans would claim that she/the Government was weak or 'too liberal', and that strong leadership - even a military coup - was needed to restore order.

Sort of..

But no

Yeah, as I thought. No proof of it.
I think you quoted the wrong link - ie the Observer article I linked to is quoting Jared Kushner reportedly saying Trump thinks Republican supporters are ’stupid’ - however the Snopes link says there’s no evidence that Trump has said that directly himself in public anywhere online - as I said above- No proof.

Your post (quoting me) makes it sound like I've disagreed with you, but I haven't quoted you or posted links. Maybe you quoted me by mistake?
