Embarrassing to say the least. Not that one little vote will mean f*** all in the grand scheme of things, but I am abstaining from voting in 2024. Not gonna vote for any of them when they will all be horse crap anyway.
That’s what they said a couple of months ago before the mid terms.Don't underestimate American stupidity, if he runs, he will win by a landslide.
Democrats don't stand a chance after Biden.
How come, despite sky high inflation, the Republicans failed to have the predicted landslide in the mid terms?Don't underestimate American stupidity, if he runs, he will win by a landslide.

Has spence hacked your account ?Don't underestimate American stupidity, if he runs, he will win by a landslide.

He’ll not beat Desaintis in the primary. He’s fast becoming a parody of himself ….He's going to get elected again. You heard it here first!
According to the exit polling, the main issues for American voters turned out to be democracy and abortion rights. Both of which are areas where the Republicans are seen as a party which is on the wrong side of history. The predictions beforehand were that it would be about the economy, which would be tough for Biden as the incumbent at a time of economic turmoil. How come, despite sky high inflation, the Republicans failed to have the predicted landslide in the mid terms?
You’re probably right but it’s poetic justice (and macabrely entertaining!) watching him be dragged through the shit by Congress over the January 6 raids on the Capitol:He's desperate to extend his record of failure by losing a third election, but I doubt he's even going to be able to win the nomination this time. Best way to keep himself out of prison though!

Someone please explain why...
The Republican Party is called "The Grand Old Party" when they were formed in 1854
&
The Democratic Party was formed in 1824 ?
They lied from the get go, typical American politics eh, never stood a chance....
Chickens might be coming home to roost...
Capitol riot: Committee to seek charges for Trump - reports
The committee will reportedly seek an unprecedented charge of insurrection against an ex-US president.www.bbc.co.uk
It's all relative. Trump asked his republican colleagues to lie about the election result, and subvert the course of democracy. Coupled with the storming of the capital, that is the most anti-democracy we've seen from either party pretty much ever. The greatest lie of all is that Democrats are pro-democracy.

The plan to lie about the election results could have. Had governors reported the wrong election results, the overall result could have changed. Not that it matters how likely it was to succeed, the fact is he tried. And it was never going to succeed.
And anyone trying to cause a BLM riot would be prosecuted, as Trump should be.People try to chicken little sky is falling about the Capitol Riot. It was no worse than some of the BLM riots that also saw protestors vandalised government buildings and storm into them. Neither were going to overthrow anything.
The Reds have already dumped him for the Christian Crusader Ron De Santis. That is the battle he has to win first. He did lie and is still lying - but absolutely I agree, if it were not for eg the integrity of officers like Raffensperger in Georgia the final results could well have been skewed enough to turn the final result - “the election was stolen” has become GOP mantra and the concern for the Jan 6 Committee investigation is that letting Trump’s attempts to overthrow the results of the 2020 election go unpunished would set a precedent for future elections and undermine the very fabric of the federal Republic of the US
“If President Trump and the associates who assisted him in an effort to overturn the lawful outcome of the 2020 election are not ultimately held accountable under the law, their behavior may become a precedent and invitation to danger for future elections,” the summary says. “A failure to hold them accountable now may ultimately lead to future unlawful efforts to overturn our elections, thereby threatening the security and viability of our Republic.”
This is the thinking however, on the far right (and evident even in the centre) of the GOP:
‘Far-right Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has slammed the January 6 panel after it recommended criminal charges against Trump, comparing the move to cracking down on political rivals in “communist countries”.
“They conduct fake trials and create fake charges,” she wrote in a social media post.
“Then they imprison their political opponents in order to defeat them and scare and silence the country filled with people who support them.”’
Jan 6 panel updates: Lawmakers recommend charges against Trump
Committee unanimously approves recommending charges, including inciting insurrection, against former US president.www.aljazeera.com
I think in the Committee referring Trump to the DoJ it will galvanise his campaign support for the 2024 Presidency even further which may be the price to pay for trying to bring him to justice. Trump will no doubt challenge all counts right up to SCOTUS to drag it out until the beginning of the 2024 election period.
Trump remains the focus albeit a symptomatic one of a deeply divided nation - the 2024 elections threaten to be even more divisive that those of 2020.

Your argument is like catching a terrorist who was trying to blow up a load of people, and his defence being that he'd made a mess of making the bomb and it wasn't going to go off anyway.
And anyone trying to cause a BLM riot would be prosecuted, as Trump should be.
Ah, the good old "they're all as bad as each other" fallacy.Politicians lie all the time to try and influence outcomes.
Look at the absolute lies the Democrats pushed with the now soundly debunked Russia-gate nonsense.
They were trying to have a sitting President removed based on fabrications and lies.
Should the Democrats behind those lies be prosecuted given it played a part in the political environment that unfolded?
No my argument is that it's laughable that people think the US was going to be overthrown. Like it's hilarious.
He very well might be prosecuted but the fact that so much corruption and lies by other politicians just get swept under the rug means it's all one massive fraudulent system that picks and chooses which corruption it will accept.
