For some time on this thread, I read de-jewed as de-jeweled and was totally puzzled. Now i know what it is, I rather wish it had been that.
Ridiculous comment.
Biden didn’t disagree though did he
Mainly Trump'she went all in, including giving up all weapons and an air base. Who’s shit show was it?
Or how about a debate on CNN, with a network and moderators who despise him? Who won that one?
I think she’s the one who is running scared.
You think of the Democratic Party as centrists, while I see them leaning far left (which they are).
Well yes And there's no suggestion they are going to stop people owning assault rifles or abolish the death penalty. The description of the Democrats as "Far left" showing an alarming inability to apply even basic critical analysis skillsThe policies of the Democratic Party are to the right of the policies of the Conservative Party in the UK. We have a much more generous welfare system here, with free decent free healthcare and education for all (always something we want to improve, but try comparing us with the US). The suggestion that the Democrats are far left is for the birds.
Can't see the relevance - that wasn't a debate Harris was involved in.Or how about a debate on CNN, with a network and moderators who despise him? Who won that one? I think she’s the one who is running scared.
As a student of politics and someone who lived in the US, I believe you are partly correct. However you too show an inability to apply even basic critical analysis skills. The Democratic Party is the definition of a very broad church. The “squad” are far left in every way, however Biden was centre right. Just to clarify id be voting democrat at this election even though im not sold on KHWell yes And there's no suggestion they are going to stop people owning assault rifles or abolish the death penalty. I see myself as an average American (I have been a citizen now for 25 years) who wants nothing but the best for my wife, kids and grandkids to live as freely as possible, with as little government interference as possible. The American dream if you like. People on here think of me as a fascist.
So your caring only goes as far as your wife, kids and grandkids and no further?I think you make a couple of good points, it could just be a matter of perspective.

You think of the Democratic Party as centrists, while I see them leaning far left (which they are). There are people on here that are socialists, communists, etc., certainly no fascists, but maybe most posters are much more centrist than we give each other credit for.
From your perspectiveYou think of the Democratic Party as centrists, while I see them leaning far left (which they are).
Surely that's an extreme interpretation? Saying "I want the best for my family" is not the same as saying "I want the best for my family and don't care about the rest of the world".So your caring only goes as far as your wife, kids and grandkids and no further?
And you consider this as what an average (normal) citizen feels?
And that doesn't make you right of centre at all?
You're right that "right of centre" people do tend to prioritise the welfare of their won family above that of strangers. But sure;y that's true of "left of centre" people as well.
Would you mind elaborating on their “far left” policies? You think of the Democratic Party as centrists, while I see them leaning far left (which they are).
The US depends upon the Electoral College, so the polls that matter are the swing states. Saying that, the pollsters tend to underestimate Democrat support by a few percent, so I've heard. Personally, I'm waiting for Allan Lichtman to make his call.Oh he's not going to like this. And on his own platform too:
Also noticed that the poll here now has Harris ahead of Trump by 1 vote. The only poll that matters!
Also anybody who voted "Other Democratic candidate tbc", you can change your vote. It's now official.
WHAT?!? You mean the poll on a random thread for an English football team has no predictive value?!?The US depends upon the Electoral College, so the polls that matter are the swing states.
