If you cut off the name tag, they would actually be well designed silk ties - they look beautifully made. In fact his financial advisors should get him to remove his personal brand name from anything he decides to sell - I think he might make up for some of the losses that will arise from the Courts ruling his Trump Organisation‘s assets are somewhat overvalued.

I'm embarrassed to say that I actually do own a Donald Trump tie. In my defense, my wife bought it because she didn't like either of the other 2 ties I own and I don't think she was aware that was what it was. And it was bought before he entered politics.
We also once stayed at the Trump hotel in Vegas.

I doubt that he genuinely believes any of the crap he spouts but it makes no difference to his behavior. He surely knows very well that he committed fraud for many years, sexually assaulted E. Jean Carroll (and others), planned and incited an insurrection, and stole and sold national secrets.

I’m not entirely sure about that - I actually think his ego is so large and his narcissism runs so deep, that he can’t fathom why everybody doesn’t think he is the ‘greatest ever’ and the ’only one that could ever’. I think he is a fully paid up subscriber to his own narratives. With Trump, every lie becomes a necessary, self-validating step in the process of building his self image as Trump the Victim and a Trump the Demagogue until the Fake Trump is the Real Trump (or at least until the DoJ catches up with Fake Trump
