Not the greatest day for our lads; assist for Chouchane, a bit of game time late on for BBB, and I dare say Tom McGill will be happy enough to have been on the winning side.

...........................and to complete the weekend, Odel Offiah continues his excellent loan in the centre of defence at Blackpool (no sign of former Albion youngster Jensen Weir for their opponents though).

Just for the record, here is the club's latest review of the loanees' progress -
https://www.brightonandhovealbion.com/pages/en/media-article/loan-report-good-week-for-beadle

Tonight Stoke and Massive are both involved in the League Cup - more minutes for Moran? I expect Massive will be giving Beadle the night off.

Edit: Moran on the bench.
Moran's 20 minute cameo couldn't help Stoke (and, missed it earlier - Chouchane started and played an hour for Northampton - but they lost too).

The long road to FA Cup glory starting for many of our loanees today, but first the bread and butter business -
Buonanotte playing no.10 for Leicester - looks like he may have made that his place to lose now.
Moran started at no.10 for Stoke too, put himself about a bit, got a yellow, ends up at FT on the winning side.
Could have been an Albion derby at Hull, but Hull have crocked Rushworth and O'Mahoney has been moved to the bench by Pompey.
Beadle starts, of course!

.......and now, Who's up for the Cup!
Offiah, away at Gillingham for Blackpool - starting at RB again;
Doyle on the bench for Exeter, as is Barrington for Grimsby;
BBB gets the nod to start for Port Vale.
Others starting later - or tomorrow (if picked, of course).

North of the Border - zilch as usual.

No - and some of the Massive fans are falling out of love with the young man who played such an important part in keeping them up last season. :(

Today, Sarmiento has to be content with warming the Burnley bench. Former Brighton youngsters today:- James Tilley on the winning side for AFC Wimbledon at MK Dons (where Tom McGill was given a day off) while Marc Leonard's Birmingham disappointment continues still on the bench even for a cup match.

Is McGill also MK Dons’ keeper in cup games? I thought he only featured in the league.
