Early starts in the Championship this afternoon - Moran and Sarmiento both starting.

The Championship:
Full 90 minutes (and a yellow card) for Sarmiento, and Moran subbed a few minutes from full time. Rushworth starts for Swansea.
League1:
Starts for Beadle and Leonard (with an assist for Northampton's first goal). Peupion on the bench. Turns not in Orient's matchday squad, and no sign of Weir in the Blackpool squad (hopefully on his way back to Brighton to get a decent loan?)
Recent departures from the Albion:
Richards and Connolly benched. James Furlong yet to make any appearance for Hull. Up in Scotland, Jack Spong still running the midfield for Queen's Park.

Good cup tie on BBC2 at the moment. Former Brighton youngster (up until we released him in the summer) Lorent Tolaj leading the line for Aldershot against League2 Stockport - and doing a decent job of it so far.

At this point he must be worth at least 20 million anyone young scoring in the championship would cost that much and more. I hope we bring him into the squad next season
Another goal for Sima in the Europa League tonight. Having a great loan now he's come back from a few injuries - should get a few quid for him.
£20m though? Dream on! Rangers might be able to pay close to what we paid for him; close, but not the full thing. Any other suitors? Hmmm....

Carry on at this rate and there will be other suitors.

Rangers won't be able to afford Sima, which is a shame really. 14 goals for the season including 4 in Europe.

Congratulations on winning Group B, wonder if both clubs will meet each other at some stage, preferably the final. :)

Not a great day for our loanees today, not in terms of starts anyway.
The Championship.
Only Moran starts; Ayari on the bench as usual, and Rushworth is out injured.
Correction: Rushworth started for Swansea.
League1.
Potential Albion derby at Cheltenham - but no cigar. Still, being on the benches, Peupion and Turns can have a nice chat about their happy days in PL2.
Beadle and Leonard both start, but still no sign of Weir for Blackpool.
Ex Albion youngsters.
Not a lot of joy in the Championship - only Connolly starts. Richards on the bench for QPR, but no sign of Roberts or Furlong.
Lower down the pyramids, better luck - Cochrane and Spong both start in Scotland, as does Tolaj in the National League. Still no sign of a game for Todd Miller at Bromley though.

Last year, our loanees got into European competition before we did, now our loanees are winning trophies before we do!

In other news, in the Championship, Sarmiento played most of the match for West Brom in their draw against Stoke.

Kjell Scherpen has seemingly ended his season-long loan at Sturm Graz - said his goodbyes on his social media last night. If I read his post right, he'll be having some kind of elective surgery.

Unfortunately I need to think about my health and future now and have to make a decision to stop and work on my injury.
