....is probably not originally from this area as no self repspecting Brightonian or Hoveonian would ever describe the Albion as a tuppany hapenny team. Butt out please dear.

What was that song Terry Garoghan sings on Brighton the Musical?

I'm not in Hove - excellant lyrices including 'don't see me crying by the Goldstone Ground' - with a chorus of Zimmer frames interposed with The Drive & other dodgy Hove adrreses.

You're wasting your breath mate. Someone so opposed to progress certainly won't use the internet. She's probably out collecting firewood at the moment, and getting her mangle repaired.

She's an ignorant old slapper who will hopefully get a serious bout of flu because she's too up herself to get a shot.

What ARE people from Hove called?

Hovosexuals.

Like homosexuals, but they don't like being the ones who bend over and take it.

Anyway, this is her, not that I am suggesting you misuse the information to get strange subscriptions sent to the address, etc, etc:

Removed the address, but if you go to www.bt.com you can still search for, and find it.

That's a bit strong. Ok for the likes of Archer and Bellotti, but she's entitled to express her opinion in The Argus much as we may disagree with it.

Maybe but not when she makes out that she wasn't given the chance to vote against Falmer. If people were so disinterested as to not bother about voting in the referendum their opinions don't count. Ontop of which she lives in Hove, how the f*** is a stadium that is on te other side of Brighton bother her ? Like some many I would bet that she too has no idea about the location.

As much as I am tempted to call her , abusive phone calls will play into the hands of the nimby's.

Just keep your cool and rejoice at her misery when JP says yes.

Quite correct, I would reasonably assume that the powers making the decision realise that people like her are total fuckwits.

Having just read her letter, the sheer blind ignorance of people like this woman beggars belief. She's obviously TOTALLY clueless about the Albion.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion, fair do's...but she must have no idea of the concept of passion at all.
How VERY dare she spew such tosh..what a LIBERTY!
I hope she gets some replies in kind...

This country...

The Drive in Hove isn't the Drive in Southwick.

The A-Z Street Atlas of East Sussex lists a number of streets called 'The Drive':-

Hove
N'hvn
Hails
Hell
S'wick
Burg H
Tun W
F'cmbe
Crow
Mare
Uck
St Leo

Where the hell is Hell ?

:lolol:

These abbreviations can be very dangerous. I'm particularly fond of the paintwork on the road at the Horse & Groom crossroads in Polegate, where they have a right-turn lane to Wannock, with only space for four letters.

I think Hell is Hellingly.. though i'm sure other places in Sussex could be described as Hell too too!
