Just wanted to say massive thanks to the Brighton fans who supported our red-card protest, anti-Diamandis songs etc yesterday. You guys were class, best of luck for the rest of the season and hope the Falmer stadium goes well now you seem to have cleared most of the hurdles (apologies if I'm out of date on that). Yesterday reminded me what the old cliche "the football community" is all about.

Please stay in business, we need teams that are easy to beat.

Best of luck. You've probably already read it but a copy of "Build a Bonfire" might provide a few campaign ideas...

Yep, there's a whole library of Albion books detailing 'the troubles' and you would do well to have a flick through.

We had some marvellously inventive protests, designed to bring the campaign to a national media who just weren't bothered.

Amoung my favs were the whilstle protest, the walk out and the boycott, where we eventually broke in anyway. Pitch invasions and forcing a game to be abandonded were another level and I hope you don't have to get that far. having said that, it was what we needed for the sweet FA to finally take notice.

Hope you go to the wall.

Why would you want that? Swindon seem to be going through somthing similar to what we went through ourselves a few years ago. I'm not a Swindon fan but I sympathize with their troubles.

Good luck Swindon.

oh right. haha and all that.

anyway, to echo the otter's sentiments - thanks for your support yesterday. you're a credit not only to your club but to lower league football across the country, i sincerely doubt there are many other clubs who would be so willing to pitch in at short notice for a club none of you have any ties to.

it was also a pleasure to meet some of you, perhaps come march we'll have new owners, new management and some decent players and we can visit the withdean again...preferably dry this time

I'm assuming that you've managed to get past the 10am deadline today then?
Good, our three points are safe.

All the best for the take over and new management.

Yesterday's news on the Swindon Advertiser site was that Fitton is "confident the deal will now go through on Monday morning".

There's no mention of any deadline.

Can I add my best wishes? And special thanks to one of the best pubs in England, who hosted the Gardeners Arms trippers so magnificently yesterday.

... the Duke of Wellington. I shall be back, next time we play in Swindon.
