I used to live in Oxfordshire myself when my Dad was in the RAF, and a few friends and I did go along to the County Ground a time or two.

Hopefully I'll get the chance to visit with The Albion one day.

Yesterday's news on the Swindon Advertiser site was that Fitton is "confident the deal will now go through on Monday morning".

There's no mention of any deadline.

If it's the Duke of Welly on Eastcott Hill that used to be my local when I first moved to Swindon (lived with the missus for a while before we got a place together). Proper pub.
