Bwian said:Damn! Guess that means the roads will be clogged with loads of women driving 4x4s which they are unable to park.
The ability to move freely is noticably easier when school's out.

Except for those ankle biters who are under 4 years old, of courseTom Hark said:good time to book a week in the sun - prices cheap, med still warm, complete absence of ankle-biters - hoorah!

Damned college run; all those herbed up cyclists in ragged clothing clogging up our highways.
96% of em with A levels and nothing useful to do except sup ale in college bars, practice biological multiplication, and listen to less than 60's music in run down gaffs.
Next they're on the dole with their first class honours degrees in flower arranging or aromatherapy wacking on about having huge debts they cannot repay, and looking back longingly at that gap year in Oz.
College starts next week. Thanks for the reminder!

We live in a village with a roundtrip of 5.9 miles.Parents amongst you may realise what that means in terms of free buses.
Walking would take perhaps 50 mins along roads which would horrify the school run whingers.
Think I'll drive more slowly to wind up some more sad sacks!
If you cannot face the traffic, stay safe indoors.
