Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
What a ridiculous system. Palm greasing. Offer of friendlies. Cartier watches.

What legacy has been left behind in South Africa in the long run? Plenty of contracts went to companies outside of Africa and I would imagine that people are being moved back into their slums.

Fick FUFA.

quite a few friendlies have been arranged for the benefit of gaining FIFA votes (Vs Brazil in Qatar is the most obvious). glad the FA have recognised its not worth the hassle anymore.

The fact England were prepared to play a match for a vote proves what a farce the bidding system is.The fact we were in some way playing"the game" makes us part of the problem as well.

I think we should set up a new FIFA. I am sure a number of countries would join now.

We could join this lot:-

VIVA World Cup Official Website

Whether we'd win, is another matter. We'd be up against the might of:-

Sápmi
Padania
Provence
Iraqi Kurdistan
Arameans Suryoye
Maasai
West Papua
Gozo
Zanzibar
Tibet
Greenland
Rijeka

Actually what we SHOULD do is keep saying "Yes yes of course we're going to play" - and then just not turn up on the day.

According to The Mirror The FA will no longer be funding or supplying coaching clinics in the countries that lied about giving England their vote too.

It won't matter because they'll already have replacement funding from the Russian FA
