Well the acting FA Chairman has finally smelt the roses and decided he can no longer work with the lying cheating bastards, sorry I mean the custodians of the game, FIFA and will not take up the role permanently.
The game was arranged to try and guarantee a vote.
Seems quite odd for the FA to take the moral high ground under the circumstances.
Did anyone catch the interview with the leader of the bid tonight ? Even he admitted that the way in which we run the game in THIS country is part of the problem.

Would this be the perfect time to bring back the 'Home Internationals'? No more toadying up to FIFA with meaningless friendlies for votes that don't materialise and we'd get at least 3 real games every year involving England. Probably help improve the sweaties and Welsh teams too.
