Oi, I am anything but pious.
I didn't kick off, we had a reasonable discussion about it.

Well that was a pretty santamonious post you just aimed at Beachy with regard to raising children.

I really hated my dad when I was a teenager, but I can't really remember why now, cos he's a lovely bloke.

Think of it this way, Beachy: once his hormones have calmed down, he'll think you're bloody ace again.

Maybe.

Argh, I was just saying that all kids are different, and some are just bought up to be more mature about these things and some get on with adults better. Which is true. I was not saying it was a good thing. You know about the fear I live in.

Well I semi respected my parents, my 26 year old sister was so bad my parents told her to move out and my little sister is a proper goody two shoes. All been raised the same.

People are just different.

Probably more to do with your peers than your parents.

Probably. I gave up trying to be rebellious cos my parents wouldn't take any of it. My siblings are different though.

He's not as bad as some of the kids at his school!!!!!!!!!! in fact he's not really bad at all, just being a teenager who can't cope with his hormones, peer pressure, exams (ask him how they went today!), girls, alcohol etc etc

I didn't see or speak to one of my sons for about 2 years, but now we're back happy...so don't despair

:)

My parents raised me to be a sexy, cool, hip to the groove motherfucker but I rebelled and became a massive geek.

Similar in my house, I'm one of three girls, my older sister wanted to get a divorce from my parents ( he he) she hated them so much, and refused to even talk to them for about most of her teenage years. I was goody two shoes, and my little sister isn't on this planet most of the time (shes not called spacey stacey for nothing) so she was impossible to go mad at as she was so far removed from reality that Dad just laughed at her and she laughed because thats what she does when others laugh!
