Fair attempt, and due respect for trying, but please never attempt again. It's not about the multi-coloured if's and's and but's. It's a table like any other, pure and simple and elegant.

Acker79 is our leader. Accept no substitute, however sloppy and well-meaning.

Lesson learned, enthusiasm lead to bad judgement, and worse formatting.

This may partly be because 'teams that cant catch us' is Mickey, to be frank. No team will win 12/13 games on spin. And it doesn't allow for the simple fact that the teams have to play each other so points must be dropped. It is a simple mathematical formula that has no possible practical relevance. In practice, it is highly unlikely any team below SW could possibly catch us.
Yes yes yes. But that isn't the point of this thread which is a much-loved annual NSC institution.

We can add Bristol City for what it's worth.
Well, at least that's THREE teams that can't catch us now - so guaranteed mathematically no relegation this year! Not that relegation's been a possibility for a while anyway, but.......................................

Bristol, Wigan, Rotherham and Burton can't catch us.

Wolves, Blackburn, and Forest all have to play each other. Unfortunately, there are a few scenarios in which two of them finish on at least 71 points, so that only locks out one more space. So we can't finish bottom 5.

.....and Ipswich would have to make up a 22 goal deficit on GD!

A great night. A third of the division can't catch us now!
