My choice:

Ryan
Duffy....Dunk....Burn.
Webster....Stephens...Propper....March
Gross
Maupay.....Connolly
Subs: Button, Alkazate,Bissouma, Bong,Montoya,Murray,Trossard.

My 2 concerns are:
a. Is Trossard fit and ready to start in place of either Maupay or Connolly
b. The back 3 are all very slow.

If the back 3 are all slow why are you bringing Duffy back in...

My only change from the Weekend would be Trossard for Mooy.

And go 4-3-3? Could do.

or he might just put in Alzate for Mooy and stick with the 4-2-2-2

You'd think it would be obvious, wouldn't you?

Although in fairness to BG, under G-Pott anything is possible.

Sure dropping an ever present, one of the league leading tacklers, only right (wing) back at the club, would be a bit of a reach even for the dull haired one.

I would expect the only change to be Trossard or Match for Mooy but I thought that we looked better when Duffy came on and Webster moved to RWB in place of Montoya so why not start that way, was my logic.

Montoya was shagged towards the end of the 2nd half cos they played 45 mins without Mooy, also he gives an attacking right wing outlet, Duffy doesn't.
Didn't the winning goal come from their left wing where Duffy was?
So still Montoya for me and either Trossard or Solly for Mooy

I don't think starting with 10 men is such a good idea.

I can only assume you're still to be won over by Maupay. It's true he's not scoring as many goals as we'd like, or getting the positions he needs to get us goals, but he's sharp, quick and strong. I think you should lighten up on him, the more he plays, the more he'll achieve.

a galaxy far far away
Different teams for different formations. Assuming Trossard fit but not Bernardo. Whatever formation, I’m dropping Montoya and Propper

If 4222 then

--------------Ryan
Webster Dunk Duffy Burn
-----Alzate Stephens
------Gross Trossard
-----Maupay Connolly

(that backline should be a threat from corners)

If 3421
--------------Ryan
-----Webster Dunk Burn
Alzate Stephens Propper March
--------Gross Trossard
-----------Maupay

(OK I have to play Propper in this line up)

I cannot see Jahanbakhsh being in the 18 man squad as even with injuries he hasnt made it so far. To answer another poster, Marshy, I would bring Duffy back because he is a better CB than Webster and I think that in turn Webster could be the RWB to replace Montoya who has had good and bad moments this season.

I have already given up guessing a Potter team selection. I was amazed we played essentially the same team on Sat that we did v Spurs!

Almost agree - but for the 3-4-2-1 (I'd change that to 3-4-1-2) I'd have Gross behind Maupay and Connolly. Trossard likely to come on as a sub later, but I wouldn't start him yet - maybe against Norwich.
