Personally I think that the defence and strikers are fine as they are it is the midfield that is the problem.

I'd play Mcleod and Cox on the wings and experiment with Livermore and Loft in the midfield.

When Loft came on we looked more of a threat.Time to drop Whing and play Virgo at right back.Bring in a new creative midfielder and Winger. Also drop Cox to the bench. At least Robinson took players on.

I would play the following team:

Kuipers
Virgo
Hawkins
Lynch
Richards
Robinson
Thomson
Livermore
McLeod
Forster
Murray

We need to give Lynch a game and this would be a perfect opportunity. Let Virgo have a game a RB to see how he compares with Whing. Give Livermore a game in central midfield if that's his best position.

Where has this "Whing is a weak point" started coming from. Haven't seen him play too badly at all this season?

Best team we have currently is:

Kuipers

Whing Elphick Hawkins Richards

Robinson Thomson Virgo McLeod

Forster Murray

For this game, wouldn't mess with the defence, give Cox an ultimatum and try Livermore in central midfield. Give Fozzie a break.

Sullivan

Whing Elphick Hawkins Richards

Cox Thomson Livermore McLeod

Robinson Murray

Don't we have to field a certain number of 'first team' players anyway.

McLeod in for Livermore and tell them to f***ing sort it.

Remember this is a team that got a result at Southend so deserve the chance to rectify the garbage we saw yesterday.

Give a few of the squad players a game, I say.

-------------Sullivan----------------

El Abd----Virgo----Lynch---Richards
Cox---livermore-----Loft---Mcleod
------Murray---Robinson

Very much doubt Adams will playe key players in the JPT.Not after picking a red and an injuries to players.

Sounds poor to me

El Abd is, I believe still injured, Loft is just not good enough, how many more chances does Robinson need to show he is not a striker?

So I would play a back 4 of Virgo Hawkins Lynch Richards. Start with FDM in goal and see how it goes and perhaps give Sullivan 30 mins. Murray and Forster up front to continue to work together and form a better understanding. The midfield is anybodys guess but I would play McLeod to give him more match practice.

Kuipers

Whing - Elphick - Lynch - Richards

Robinson - Thomson - Loft - McLeod

Murray - Virgo

Want a trip to Wembley but give Forster the night off, and Cox needs a few games out of the team to get his hunger back and not think he is a automatic pick

Agree. Would go for Livermore ahead of Thomson though.
