based on the stoke game, can only imagine De Zerbi will go strong for this game on saturday. We look unlikely to qualify for europe via the league, so a cup may be our best bet

conversely, the game against luton on tuesday will be very tough, and it does feel like we need a win, to get some confidence before the palace game, and we need to try and build some consistency in any case. will dahoud be anywhere to be seen? i would like to see moder maybe start. we’re going to be facing a low block again, which without wingers may be problematic. might as well give baker-boitey a start as he’s evidently trusted and is a natural winger. I am thinking something like:

bart
hinshelwood - JPVH - dunk - pervis
groß - WBG - moder
BBB - Ferg - JP

I don't accept that we can't qualify for Europe from the league.

But here's my team

-----------Verbruggen
Hinshelwood Dunk Van Hecke Estupinan
Lamptey ---Gross --Gilmour---Milner
----------------Pedro
--------------Ferguson

Brighton factually.....
Added physicality because they will be kicking the shit out of us all over the park.
Surly not, soccerball is a game for athletes and gentlemanly conduct, much like the spectators cheering on with bluster, enthusiasm and not a foul word heard after alighting the train.

On the Border
Steele

Webster Van Hecke Dunk

Hinshelwood Gross Gilmour Moder

Buonanotte Ferguson Joao Pedro

If fit Estupinan to come in for Webster, but think any slight doubt and he won't start as will be needed on Tuesday night.

It'll be as strong as possible. Roberto wants to win. Not sure if Sheffield will rest a few as although staying up is their priority, its looking very unlikely they can(stay up). Wilder will probably go full strength
Wilder’s recent interview suggests he will rest some players. They have a massive relegation 6 pointer away at some team in S London on Tuesday.

This would be my thinking - another wingerless formation with 3 at the back, FB’s and strikers playing as wide - I would play Facu slightly deeper behind Fergie and Pedro though and have Verbruggen in goal. Maybe have Lamptey on for cover.

I would like to see a couple of the u23s on the bench, Samuel's, simmons, Knight and omahony

Are the likes of Igor or Fati, who both trained yesterday worth some game time, probably from the bench?

Starting a revolution from my bed
I’d guess that RDZ might go like this:

Bart
Hinshelwood Webster JPVH Dunk Milner
Baleba Gross
Buononatte Pedro
Ferguson

Igor, Lallana, Moder and Welbeck to feature off the bench depending on game state.

Quite a lot of the thinking around this has got to be, "which selection is least likely to result in a draw?"

I think we'll go balls out attacking at the weekend
