We look unlikely to qualify for europe via the league, so a cup may be our best bet
We're currently in 7th, having had the squad decimated by injuries for the first half of the season, in a year where there is likely to be an additional European spot up for grabs. 7th should get us Europa again, 8th should get us Conference League. How can anyone think it is unlikely we'll qualify for Europe via the league, we're in pole position!

I wonder whether Sheffield United will go full strength, or rest players for the midweek round of Premier League matches? They have Crystal Palace (A) on Tuesday 30/01/2024, which is far more important for them.

I think he goes near enough full strength. We haven’t played too many games recently and we have players coming back from injury. It would only take one or two upsets in this round (Spurs knock City out for example) and RDZ will see a cup final as a distinct possibility.

I am surprised a few people haven't put Pervis in their team, a pretty decent crosser of the ball and some pace. Also could see a role for him as our holding mid field , has the strength and speed to physically do the role , seen him come across on many occasions to win teh ball back so might have the correct mindset.
