Hendo picked up an injury on Saturday, will he be fit for Leicester?

They reckon so. No new injuries reported this morning.

El Abd has settled done well at RB so it would be foolish to disrupt the shape of the team by moving him again - and people accuse McGhee of tinkering!

if it wasn't for mcghee's tinkering by dropping lynch we wouldn't have that problem would we :salute:

Hammond back on the left.
Mayo in central midfield; he played well there at S'oton let's see if it was a fluke.
Need to do something up front; try McShane.

Half agree, but if you had been at Cov on Sat and seen Hendo after the 1st goal, the bloke could barely walk - he looked totally crocked and Martin and Keelo went through a full warm-up routine during HT. During 2nd half I wasn't convinced that Hendo was 100% but the management must have thought that a crocked Hendo was still a safer bet than Martin

WHERE WAS FDM??? Could have been his chance to get on and play a blinder .... (asumung he was fit - does anyone know)

We don't have a problem - Reid is currently a much better player than Lynch, so put that in yer pipe and shove it up ya arse :salute: :salute: :salute: :salute:

True, but actually Lynch is a centre-back, and I'm not knocking the young lad, it's shown at times in his support for the midfield.

We have to make smart gambles now - and that means including one of the most naturally gifted players in our squad, Paul Reid, in the team.

We're arguing over the merits of two right-sided players El Abd and Reid at LB, I say El Abd has hit a good run of form at RB so leave him there. Whoever you put at LB is not going to be perfect but Reid as the ultimate utility player I think is the best bet.

Yes, Reid has been caught out at LB, but so has he at RB (think back to the Norwich game), so it's much of a muchness.

On the other hand, at Selhurst Park he put in the best performance by an Albion leftback this season with superb distribution to our midfield that kept Palace on the run for virtually the entire game.
