We have got ... (ether Pros, or have featured this season in the squad)

Goalkeepers: Alan Blayney; Rami Shaaban; Chris May

Full-Backs: Paul Reid; Dan Harding

Centre-Backs: Joe Dolan; Guy Butters; Adam El-Abd; Joel Lynch, Gary Elphick

Central Midfield: Alexis Nicolas; Charlie Oatway; Dean Hammond; Richard Carpenter

Wingers: Nathan Jones; Dean Cox

Strikers: Maheta Molango; Adam Virgo; Chris McPhee; Mark McCammon; Jake Robinson

So 21 players to pick from ... but if we are only looking at those who have "significant" first team experience this season (i.e. 10+ first team starts for us - "us" is important because it means they are used to playing alongside each other)

Goalkeepers: NONE

Full-Backs: Paul Reid; Dan Harding

Centre-Backs: Guy Butters;

Central Midfield: Alexis Nicolas; Charlie Oatway; Dean Hammond; Richard Carpenter

Wingers: Nathan Jones

Strikers: Adam Virgo; Mark McCammon

Agree Oatway has been poor recently but he'll start won't he? As Virgs is top scorer, he must start up front.
It's made for Molango!

So we have a few games left to save ourselves & you want Robinson & Molango who have barely played 10 competitive games between them all season?? Molango has struggled in the Reserves - why would he start now??

I didnt say he should start, I said he would come on withing 10 minutes when big mark either keels over or MM realises what we all secretly think

Jakey should be match fit ( ie playing every week at Aldershot) and he is all we have.

We can always move Virgo up front if we are 2-0 down after 5 minutes again

Yes - Watson is carrying an injury - don't know the current situation though and it is a possibility that he might be back for Sat

Hardly rocket science in my case mate!

I go on what others say.

Sorry Stumpy, I was only looking at all those who had selected Virgs and Trolly together up front - yep, too far for 90 mins.

Apologies to LI too - although, I still disagree that these two together are a workable option - at Cov they were dire (IMHO) when paired.

Sorry RLZ - I don't class Paul Reid as a full-back. Yes MM has been playing him there, but he's no more a full-back than Virgs is a striker. i.e. they do a good job playing out of position.
At PNE on Tues, when El Abd came on at RB, this enabled Reid to slot into midfield where I thought he look much more effective.

I predict on Saturday that Reid will play RMF and El Abd will be at RB - we shall see .....

Jonah hasn't had anywhere near 10 starts so your score goes down even more :)

But we've had a lot of inexperienced players who've done well for us this year like Hinsh, Nicolas and Hammond, so the fact we may carry a couple on Saturday is no great concern, Blayney in particular has done admirably.

I reckon the team we will put out will, in fact, be pretty experienced, and there will be a lot of young, fresh legs on the bench to exploit Leicester in the 2nd half.

Agree with you on Robinson - he has to start. He's more match fit than McCammon, McPhee or Molango. Personally I wouldn't put Molango anywhere near the first team at this stage

Can't be arsed reading all this bull shit, but,as has been suggested McGhee only has 15 players to choose from then the team will pick itself :(

Personally I'm always pleased to see football related threads on here. There's not enough of them and I thought that was what NSC was all about?

If you think it's bull shit then I suggest you don't read it and just stick to reading the many non-football threads that are full of childish drivel.
