[Albion] Team for Everton (a)

So i'm trusting the Villarreal line up (this is what i expect Hurzeler to go for)
Rushworth as #2 until Verbruggen returns but to be loaned off before end of window - perhaps a third keeper to sign up. Cahill if not.
Enciso, Ferguson, March, Estupinan and a Full back, Centre Mid still to come.
No room for ACD, but perhaps he'll swap ACD out for O Mahony. Can always play Pedro as the no.9 .

Steele
Veltman Dunk JPVH Barco
Wieffer Milner
Minteh Pedro Mitoma
Welbeck

Subs: Rushworth, Baleba, Hinshelwood, Igor, Ayari, Moran, Sarmiento, Adingra, O Mahony
You don’t think he plays a back 3 and wingbacks? Veltman looked to me too glued to Van Hecke’s and Dunk’s line to be playing right back on Saturday - and Minteh was not as consistently as high as Mitoma - but I know these things fall into the art of interpretation so happy to be educated by the cognoscenti

Yep it’s pretty fluid . But I guess you’d still argue it’s a back four. With the full backs pretty flexible cos of the high press. So I’m going 4-2-3-1 but you’re right it changes on/off the ball etc.

I don't. In order for that to be the case, Minteh wouldn't have been about the most advanced player on the pitch.
No way he was playing RWB

Milner looked fine to me. A tactically astute leader in a team playing a new system is valuable even if he's not as quick as he once was.
I’ve a theory about pace. The more central you are, the less it matters.

Being the slowest player in the EPL didn’t stop Groß smashing into the host nation’s Euro squad for his first international tournament.

Milner could well have the finest football brain at the club now. I suspect it’ll be put to good use.

I do think you need some pace there. It eas noticeable billy and pascal both in their last year killed the dynamism. Compare that to mac and caicedo. Mobility matters. At least one of the players in there. We got into Europe off the back Caicedos covering and recovering.

And found it much harder going trying to getvround the absence by never giving the ball away.

I've no idea how quick weifer madness is though.

Better find some space for Gruda !!
Not very likely to start is he? Rare that a player starts for his team the same week he arrives.

I'm going to be a very dull person and say it will be the exact same team as against Villarreal, with the exception of Dunk replacing... someone.

How is ACD not getting in the squad? (Although I agree with you).
