Should probably add that the works have been planned by Network Rail for months, just very very unfortunate that theres a match at the Amex on this day, especially against a team from London !!

Why can't they reschedule them for the following weekend? Are they really that inflexible? Pathetic.

Rather than 3 bridges, I've always found it easier (& cheaper) to pre-book a car from gatwick. A lot of brighton/peace haven firms offer a cheapish rate to come and pick you up. Also, saves the mess that is 3 bridges on engineering work days.

Best advice. 45 pounds pre-booked.

I wonder how 'essential' they are? That essential that they can't be put off to another weekend when 4,000 Arsenal fans - as well as Albion supporters - won't be trying to get to Falmer?

Probably more essential than a football match.
