I would have thought that gay chants should be acceptable to all. Gone are the days when it is a horrible insult in chants, the fans don't stand there horrified do they? No, they gave it back with humour, flippantly.

All these people who are 'shocked' are just WANTING to be shocked, and get hystrionic about something. Certainly the opposition fans are doing it hoping to wind someone up, get an adverse reaction and have a little laugh to themselves. Why aren't THEIR 'gay fans' upset about the chants? Stats say that they must have several benders among them, so do they also get a bitchy kick out of it?

Let's face it, getting upthet about this crap would play into the wind-ups hands, it's not like someone coming up to you in a social situation and saying you are a bumboy and asking if you take it up the Gary Glitter, it's crowd crap and means less than a little.
