Possibly. I thought it was quite amusing first time I heard it. What's wrong with that?

I think it's that some people - just to say that the good lord distributes his gifts unevenly and some clearly slacked when the brains were being doled out - couldn't even BEGIN to see how "pretending" to be gay - even in the utterly meaningless context of a 10-20 second long football song - could possibly be acceptable when they're trying to act hard all the time? Just an idea...Lokki 7 said:Possibly. I thought it was quite amusing first time I heard it. What's wrong with that?
Lammy said:Who cares if they're laughing at us or with us?
Personally I'm comfortable enough with myself and my sexuality not to care.
Lokki 7 said:This quote and the twisted logic it contains just about sums you up. What you are basically saying is that if a bunch of bigoted idiots are being offensive, this gives you the green light to behave in the same idiotic and pathetic manner.
Would it not make more sense to rise above them instead of stooping to their level? Perhaps by responding with wit and intelligence?
(It is possible that you comments are sarcastic but judging you by your prvious posts I think it is unlikely.)

the fact that we can take the piss out of ourselves instead of getting angry says a lot
youre too ugly to be gay
1-0 to the batty boys
its all in good humour, and most fans are so shocked and too simple that we dont get angry they dont know what to do with themselves
maybe we should start singing "whats it like to shag a girl" or "we can marry legally" see what resposne we get

hans kraay fan club said:Hmmm. The impression I get of our mate Questions, is that he is trying to be a little bit concilliatory right now. Certainly he WAS being sarcastic in that post. I imagine that he is feeling a little embarrassed about some of his earlier outpourings.
I also wonder if he isn't about 15?

It did away at West Ham 2 years ago, shut them right up. It is something they don't expect and shows we have heard it all before and are just not bothered. I never said it was rocket science but is it not better then the suggested corner shop and paki jibes?

Lokki 7 said:I was thinking more along the lines of "You're too ugly to be gay", for instance which has on occasion left opposing fans gob-smacked.

You really are the Oscar Wilde of this forum are you not.
Questions said:they love to have a quarrel Commander. They never actually read what I say.
give it time and I will be homophobic to go with my racism.
and dont forget ticket touting on here.
Yeah but even that wouldn't really be funny now, would it? Not REALLY funny. Not like REALLY funny. It would just make him sound like a twat. Probably.Tooting Gull said:To be fair, I'm sure Oscar would regard both the taunts and the responses pitiful. I'd back him to come up with a lot better on a subject close to his heart.
