I think it's that some people - just to say that the good lord distributes his gifts unevenly and some clearly slacked when the brains were being doled out - couldn't even BEGIN to see how "pretending" to be gay - even in the utterly meaningless context of a 10-20 second long football song - could possibly be acceptable when they're trying to act hard all the time? People seem more concerned by their reply to poof songs than anything else , problem is , alot of people wont join in so it doesnt help the team at all

Don't remember them singing much in the first place to be honest. And yes it is better than the suggested corner shop and paki jibes, I just don't think it's quite as funny and clever as some people seem to think.

Perhaps with some people. Like I said before, "You're too ugly to be gay", or "1-0 to the nancy boys" is OK. "Come and get it up the arse" is not. That just makes us sound like twats. Unfunny ones, at that.

I'm all up for a bit of taunting, but it should be 1% taunting and 99% supporting the team. I'm sure the players would prefer that.
