Unfortunately he didn't himself get out of his seat on loan which is why he's been (effectively sold) . hasn't started a game for months.
Yeah, it's a shame such players aren't in vogue at the moment. I like em.

We'd have to disagree cos FAB will be picking half a dozen of em in the squad tomorrow.
That Japanese winger . He's quite good if you've not seen him.
No idea why Barco didn't play on loan but not sure it was because the manager didn't think it was because he'd decieded flair players were not "in vogue" .

OK I’ll give you flair wingers but for the most part he fancies work horses imo
Work horses ? Really ? Like Baleba ? or Van Hecke ? or Kadioglu ? . Who are these work horses ? (Ayari ? , O Riley ? , Wieffer ? ) .
Danny Welbeck - he seems to like him quite a bit. ? Picks him every week anyway.

In Tony I trust. That being said I really thought Lamptey was on his way back, playing well, getting regular games, and causing havoc with his assists. Let's hope it's just an offer and we simply say Nah.

He's a squad player with a bad injury record. I would have liked to keep him but it isn't a shock to see him move on.

Really ?? Like Baleba, Pedro, Minteh, Hinshelwood, Adingra, Rushworth, Ayari, McConville, Gruda, Gomez, O Riley, Verbruggen, and Georginio ? (And Enciso, Buonanotte, Dalcouye , Beadle on loan and are still Albion players ) and youth internationals like 16 year old Simmonds, Howell who are already u21 regulars. Where did it all go wrong ?
O Riley? great goal against City, nice pass for Mitoma against Ipswich , exciting in rest of his play????

He's definitely young and his goal against City was my highlight of the year so far so for me the jury is out. But fair play take him off the list. I think there's about 18 still on there.

Lamptey is one of the few that can decently cross the ball. I like players that can add a different dimension to the play Enciso and Lamptey can do that . Don't know what money lamptey is on but say his wages are £.5 m for 4 months and fee is £1.5 that really isn't a lot of money if we get 10 appearances from him and they way Ferdy and Wieffer have been injured it is quite possible we will ( would have).

Agreed. I'd definitely keep Lamptey for rest of season. No firm reporting on this one tbf . So lets wait and see.

Yeah I think we will need to disagree. Its totally about opinions. I just see three of our most exciting flair players (maybe our three most exciting players - imho of course) shipped out and it concerns me.

I like the Japanese fella too.

For Barco to be else where when we are crying out for cover in the attacking left back position confuses me though, but as you said there are lots of reasons things don't work out for players. I suspect it's because he is ginger and the club don't want to dim the legacy of our previous ginger left back.
