Some NSC people slated seagullwedgeee as a transfers liar. Did he mention Lamptey early doors?

Of course not. I was taking the piss :)

He did say we were signing the guy who went to villa and someone else who went elsewhere this window - he’s a legend though - I like him :)

The guy reminds me of Ryan Sessegnon, but on the right not the left.

I think Chelsea have been blessed with two excellent young right-backs, Reece James has got the nod with Lampard and we might reap the benefit with Lamptey. The boy is fast, the sort of fast that demands everybody else around him ups their game to keep up with him.

If this comes off I can't wait to see how he and Dunk might link up with these 50 yard cross-field passes, it'll be like watching Dan Marino connecting up with Mark Duper a la Miami Dolphins NFL c. 1983

Given he’s played first team football for Chelsea in the Prem recently and impressed, I’m hoping he’ll be challenging Montoya for his place this season.

He’s 5’4”, so him and Burn would be the strangest full back pairing.

Im worried if he’s experienced enough to slot straight in.......? Hopefully he’ll challenge straight away..

Actually expecting Montoya to have an absolute blinder against West Ham now. Nothing like competition for your place to up your game. Might even get a goal! He's got close a couple of times, from memory and is always ready to give it a go. Win win for me!

Going to be choc-a-bloc there with Stephens, Pröpper, Bissouma, Groß, MacAllister & Mooy all desperate to start!

One way or another, the days of the Propper / Stephens midfield axis look numbered. I'd like to see a midfield of Mooy, Propper, MacAllister and Alzate with Dunk and Duffy behind, Bernardo and Lamptey getting forward, Silky Dave and Maupay the deadly partnership upfront.
