Alan Wright was a very accomplished defender in the Premier League and he was only 5’4.

Montoya needs genuine competition for his place like Burn has at left back. He needs more consistency and assists & Schelotto does not seem to have pushed him enough.

BRIGHTON AGREE LAMPTEY DEAL

Brighton have agreed a deal with Chelsea to sign right-back Tariq Lamptey.

The youngster made his Premier League debut for the Blues against Arsenal on December 29.
