Incidentally, Android takes a right battering from the Apple boys when measured by Tapatalk access to NSC...

Maybe it says more about Apple and Android users as opposed to amount of gadgets?

I've never bothered with Tapatalk, just because the site runs fine on my iPad. What's the point in it, does it offer anything better than simply using the site on my iPad?

As for the sigs, I agree, they're quite annoying (I mean, they might be alright in the first instance, but they naturally become very unfunny the tenth time you've read one).

Just to confirm, [MENTION=232]Simster[/MENTION], in case you missed it... What Bozza did didn't work, it made no difference on my Tapatalk signature. I removed it, same with the other people in this thread. The people without he signature are the people who have removed it themselves.

It's not possible to get it wrong on the Tapatalk control panel - it's a simple off/on toggle. I wonder if by now setting it off, it will stop others setting their signature, but does nothing about those already set. I'll raise it on the Tapatalk support forums when I get the chance, as there's nothing else I can do on it now.

It gives less benefit on an iPad but it makes a massive difference on an iPhone as it saves lots of pinching/zooming and scrolling. I'll post some screen shots from both iPad and iPhone tonight so people can see the difference.

It's not asking too much to get people who still have one, to just turn it off to be fair. Thanks for installing Tapatalk in the first place, Bozza. Makes using NSC from a smartphone much easier and quicker.

As an aside, I popped something on the other day that auto-parses any Youtube URL to embed the video on the NSC page. An unintended bonus of this seems to be that Tapatalk users should now have direct access to those videos too.

This all seemed to start with iPhones when people would leave the "sent from an iPhone" signature at the end of every email. To non-Apple people this translates as "ooh look at me I've got an iPhone, look, LOOK, it's an iPhone, are you looking yet?"

I think you may have answered my question. From memory it seems that only some video links are an issue
