Ouch, this is hard to watch. Currently small
children outside the ground collecting balls are the busiest people in Barbados.

Has Bairstow ever looked ‘in-shape’ at professional athlete level?

I think for some batters there’s an allowance of carrying a few pounds, particularly if their genetics lend to a naturally heavier physique which enables them to club it miles.
Luke Wright certainly piled on the pounds as he focused on T20

Another World Cup and another England stinking the place out. Saved by the rain against Scotland, brutally hammered by Australia. I'd send them home now and Mott needs to go back to coaching the women.
